Waterfalls, large boulders, ice caves, and multiple short trails. Located a short drive up the beautiful Independence Pass.

"Doc" Holliday, the famous gambler, gunslinger, and DENTIST, famously came to Glenwood Springs in 1887 hoping the hot springs and vapor caves would cure his advanced tuberculosis. They did not. However, Iron Mountain has 32 mineral rich hot spring pools terraced along the Colorado River.
