Bacchanal Fine Wine & Spirits

Bacchanal Fine Wine & Spirits

600 Poland Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70117
, (504) 948-9111

Hayley's favorite spot in New Orleans. Build your own cheese boards, live music, and a bountiful selection of wine. What's not to love? Mike and Hayley will likely be here for the live music on Thursday, October 20th. Stop through if you are around that evening!

Gris-Gris

Gris-Gris

1800 Magazine Street, New Orleans, LA 70130
, (504) 272-0241

Mike worked under Chef Eric Cook at the American Sector Restaurant. On our first visit to New Orleans together, we enjoyed a memorable dinner here with friends and family. Chef Cook's classic and nouveau dishes are sure to satisfy any NOLA craving.

The Camellia Grill

The Camellia Grill

626 South Carrollton Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70118
, (504) 309-2679

Camellia Grill kept Mike fed during undergrad (he had a running tab). With an incredible breakfast & lunch menu, you can expect a long, but worthwhile wait at this classic diner. Mike's standard order: chili cheese fries, the mardi gras sandwich, and a freeze.

Yinzer’s Amazing Cheesesteaks

Yinzer’s Amazing Cheesesteaks

1514 Delachaise Street, New Orleans, LA 70115
, (412) 860-6801

Owned and operated by our good friends Michael and Colleen. Stop by for the best cheesesteaks south of the Mason Dixon!

The National WWII Museum

The National WWII Museum

945 Magazine Street, New Orleans, LA 70130
, (504) 528-1944

Hayley would be remiss not to mention the National World War II Museum, a highly-engaging and interactive Museum experience. Added bonus: Mike worked in the American Sector restaurant.

City Park

City Park

New Orleans, LA

City Park is 50% larger than Central Park in NYC! It includes the New Orleans Museum of Art, Storyland, Carousel Gardens Amusement Park, the botanic gardens, and our favorite NOLA Putt-Putt. City Park even has a Cafe du Monde location. With lots of playgrounds and park space, this is a great spot to visit if you will have little ones with you.

Frenchmen Street

Frenchmen Street

Frenchmen Street, New Orleans, LA

Frenchmen Street offers as much talent on the street corner as inside the venues. Window-shop for whatever flavor of music you are in the mood for: jazz trios, brass bands, zydeco, country, folk, rock, and more.

Frenchmen Art Market

Frenchmen Art Market

619 Frenchmen St, New Orleans, LA 70116

This open-air art market is not to be missed! Open Th-Sun 7pm-12am, you will find a wide selection of local artists, artisans, and more. This is the best spot to pick-up a unique souvenir from your trip. We've never walked away from a visit empty handed.
