Hayley and Josh met on a dating app in Spring 2021 and although it was a rocky start getting to that first date (mostly Hayley's fault because she kept cancelling) both of them knew that this might be something worth pursuing. And sure enough, they had their first date at the Anderson School McMenamins and talked for two hours without even realizing it. They spent the next month or so getting to know each other and then on July 2nd Josh took Hayley (a still recovering from being sick Hayley) on a date to his favorite Italian restaurant in Ballard and then to a Nordic themed bar and asked her to officially be his girlfriend. Fast forward four years, Josh got down on one knee at St Edwards State Park, which was very dear to both of their hearts, and asked Hayley to be his forever partner.
