Our guests will have plenty of options when it comes to lodging. Nantahala Lake has more than 75 vacation homes available for rent through Airbnb, VRBO, and other rental agencies. There are several homes within walking distance. Right on the lake with waterfront. Above the lake with lake view. Additional vacations home are 5-10 minutes away. Driving instructions: Enter this address for your GPS, 16121 Wayah Road in Topton, NC 28781. You will lose cell phone service about 30 minutes prior to arrival. As a precaution, consider printing or taking a screen shot of arrival instructions to your vacation home. As a back up, you can always make Wi-Fi calls from the Nantahala Weddings Venue; remember to ensure “wifi calling” is activated in your phone settings. If you’re coming from the east (Asheville), take the route through Bryson City rather than Franklin – even if your GPS tells you otherwise. It’s an easier drive. If you’re coming from the South (Atlanta), take the route through Murphy rather than Franklin for the same reason. If you’re coming from the west, try to avoid the Tail of the Dragon.

For your convenience and safety, complimentary shuttle service will be available for guests attending the wedding. The shuttle will provide transportation from your accommodations to the ceremony and reception and return you to your accommodations at the end of the evening. At this time, we're simply looking to gauge interest in the shuttle service. If you think you'll be using the shuttle, please complete the attached spreadsheet by entering your name and the total number of people in your party. We understand that many of you may not have finalized your accommodations yet, so you can leave that information blank for now. As the wedding date approaches, we'll send the sign-up sheet again so you can complete the remaining details, including your accommodation address and any other required information. Thank you!
