One of my favorite parts of introducing Cameron to Western North Carolina was sharing the places that made me fall in love with these mountains. We spent a day chasing waterfalls around Asheville, and it quickly became one of our favorite adventures together. Even if it's a little chilly in November, don't miss the chance to explore Pisgah National Forest, take a drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway, and discover one of the area's beautiful waterfalls. Trust us—it'll be worth it!

One of my favorite memories with Grand Patty, my grandmother, is riding the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad through the breathtaking mountains of North Carolina. It's an experience I'll always treasure, and I hope some of our guests have the chance to enjoy it too! Just 50 minutes from our wedding venue, the railroad offers scenic excursions through the Smokies, complete with charming stops along the way. If you're looking to extend your trip, it's a wonderful way to take in the beautiful mountain views and create memories of your own.

We couldn't visit Asheville without spending a day at the famous Biltmore Estate! Between exploring the grand mansion, wandering through the beautiful gardens, and taking in the mountain views, it was one of our favorite adventures together. And don't skip the complimentary wine tasting at the Biltmore Winery—it was so good that I may or may not have accidentally joined the Biltmore Wine Club! If you have a little extra time before or after the wedding, we highly recommend adding the Biltmore to your itinerary.
