Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family get dressed up with us to celebrate! The dress code for Thursday is late-summer formal chic. Ladies, think long dresses and gents, suits. Please note that the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside in the garden and on the lawn, so choose your footwear accordingly. The reception tent does have a finished floor.

Your wedding is on a Thursday; should we plan to stay the weekend?

Answer

We are getting married on a Thursday and will be staying in the area through the weekend! Our wedding events will go from Wednesday evening to Friday morning. Hannah and Tim and their families will be staying in the Bristol and Newport areas through Sunday and will look to gather throughout the weekend with those still in the area. You absolutely do not have to stay until Sunday, but we would be honored to spend more time with those that do! We hope you can enjoy the weekend away and continue celebrating with us.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Transportation will be provided for the wedding day. While there is parking available on-site at the venue, we strongly encourage you to take advantage of the provided transportation for the wedding day. Details for the schedule will be shared as the date comes closer. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Is Blithewold handicap-accessible?

Answer

Our wedding venue is handicap-accessible and has a designated handicap entrance and exit available at the front of the mansion. Please note, there is no handcap-accessible exit at the rear.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We are not able to accommodate additional guests due to the intimate nature of our wedding and our venue capacity. If you are invited to bring a guest, it will be noted on the formal invitation. We thank you all for understanding!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Our caterer is very trusted to accommodate for food allergies. You will be able to inform us of any food allergies once we send out formal invitations.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer
