Kenmore Air
Travel by Seaplane Kenmore Air provides flights from Seattle to Friday Harbor. You can take a float plane from Lake Union in downtown Seattle to the Friday Harbor Marina, its a 90 minute flight. For an even quicker option, take a small plane from Boeing Field to the Friday Harbor Airport, only a 35 minute flight. Kenmore Air has a shuttle service between the Seattle-Tacoma Airport and Boeing Field. Both the Friday Harbor airport & Marina are less than a mile from Downtown Friday Harbor.
Ferry Boat
Travel by Ferry The Washington State Ferry travels between Anacortes, WA and Friday Harbor. It's about a 1.5 hour drive from Seattle to Anacortes then about a 1 hour Ferry ride. Reservations are required to drive your vehicle onto the ferry. No reservation required to walk onto the ferry, there is ample parking on the Anacortes side and you can leave your car there for multiple days. The Ferry drops you off in Downtown Friday Harbor.
