WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

Hayden and Julia met on August 24, 2017, at Dance Across Texas during their time at the University of Texas at Austin through mutual friends - (thank you John Lyons!). Julia was close friends with a couple of the ACACIA fraternity brothers, of which Hayden was the president. He asked her to dance, and then for her number after hours on the dance floor. They had their first date the next week at his favorite Austin restaurant, Hoovers, and everything fell into place like they had been friends forever. Hayden asked her to officially be his girlfriend on October 1, and the rest is history.

Julia had won a stylized formal photoshoot with Bethany Wolf Photography in Yosemite National Park, CA, and it ended up being while Hayden's mom, Wendi, and sister, Hartlie, were in town for Christmas. While in an embrace by a small frozen stream, Hayden pushed Julia away, leaving Bethany and Julia puzzled. He then got down on one knee and pulled out a small box, "I've known for a long time this is what I wanted, and I love you so much. Will you marry me?". Little did Julia ever think that a free photoshoot would result in her dream proposal and engagement session! We're so excited to share this beautiful day with all of you!
