Hayden Davis proposed to Britta Snyder on August 31st, 2024, in a classic way for the couple—at their favorite deer hunting spot. What Britta thought was going to be just a dreadful morning of chores turned out to be part of Hayden's elaborate plan to propose. With the help of Britta's parents, they were sent off to do some hunting chores in the middle of the woods. Completely unaware of what was going on, Britta decided to roll right out of bed and get the chores over with, since it was early on a Saturday morning (and she was more than a little grumpy about going). After Britta vocalized her distaste for Saturday morning chores, Hayden was finally able to get her out the door. The couple went through their normal routine of work—cutting limbs, clearing paths, and putting out food for the deer. After they had worked up a good sweat, Hayden went over to his bag. Britta, still completely unaware, asked him, "Are you reminiscing about last hunting season?" Little did she know, Hayden was grabbing a little green box out of his bag and would soon turn around and get down on one knee. Suddenly, Britta's grumpiness about Saturday morning chores magically vanished, and she was overcome with emotions from Hayden's sweet words and the shiny new ring. After a moment of disbelief, she ecstatically said yes and got to take in all the details of the proposal with just the two of them. Hayden did an excellent job designing the ring. He used a ring that Britta's Nana gave her when she was young and added a center diamond from a pair of Nana's earrings. The ring had been burning a hole in his pocket for a whole 18 hours before he proposed. Not wanting the moment to end, the two slowly made their way home, where they were greeted with mimosas, balloons, and kind words from both families. They spent the rest of the day together, enjoying time with family, eating at their favorite restaurants, and Britta went to the nail appointment Hayden had made for her to get new nails. They ended the day taking pictures at the vineyard near where they live. It was a day they will both remember for the rest of their lives, and a fun way to start their journey into marriage together.
