This was one of our favorite date night restaurants! A "local favorite" with an excellent ambiance, delicious food, and exceptional drinks! Don't forget to use the middle elevator (only way to get down there...) and enjoy!
To all my ladies looking for a one-of-a-kind shopping experience! This has become my new favorite shopping store. If you love to thrift, you will LOVE it here...it has EVERYTHING! Think Anthropolgie, Free people, Urban Outfitters, Nuuly, and so much more! Brand new with tags for less than 1/2 the price! And if you don't believe me...search it up on TikTok/Insta!
Reservation requires (kind of hard to get reservations), but an incredible experience! Embark on a 90-minute journey back to the golden age of air travel at Carry On! Enjoy vintage-inspired cocktails, where each "flight" transports you to iconic destinations. Went on a double date with some of our favs--Kevin & Vanessa--and had the BEST time!
One of the best places for a sweet treat...it does not disappoint! Insta-worthy desserts! Fun fact: Went to this place almost exactly 24 hours after meeting Hayden for the FIRST time! And directly after visiting Soda Jerk...I got to see Hayden again!
Need an easy, yet unique dinner spot? Try an AZ fav: Postino! On Monday's and Tuesday's you can enjoy "Board and bottle" where you get a bruschetta board and a bottle of wine for $25!! But still SO WORTH eating at on any day of the week!
Looking for a nice day-trip?? Sedona is a classic, Arizona staple. If you don't have the time to go to the Grand Canyon, but still want to "see" Arizona, go to Sedona! It's 1 hour and 45 minute drive from Phoenix and 100% worth it! I recommend the following activities: #1 Pink Jeep Tours #2 Mariposa (for dinner or lunch) #3 Tlaquepaque (great shopping and absolutely GORGEOUS little town) #4 The Vault Uptown (for dinner or lunch) #5 so much hiking spots!
Not into red rock Sedona? Are pine forests more your thing? Visit the small town of Flagstaff! The cutest little historic town in the mountains. Enjoy shopping downtown, tea shops, great coffee shops, classic bars with pool tables, great restaurants (totally recommend "Pizzacleta") and beautiful scenery (such as Buffalo Park, Snowbowl, and so much more!). Just under 2 hours away from Phoenix! Another amazing day trip!
THE BEST PIÑA COLADA HAYDEN AND I HAVE EVER HAD! Make sure to make a reservation beforehand, but if you are into fun speakeasies/bars, this is a great place to go! If you are a fan of a good tropical drink/tiki bar, then visit this place!! You won't regret it!
70s style airplane bars not your thing? That's okay! Visit the sister bar to "Carry On" called Platform 18! (Located in the same building as "UnderTow"). A 1920s inspired train bar in Phoenix! Don't forget to research getting a reservation in advance! But this is a unique experience you don't want to miss!
My favorite "hole-in-the-wall" coffee shop that I bring all of my visitors too! This "coffee shack" serves mexican-inspired coffe beverages and breakfast/brunch food. Quite literally the BEST chilaquiles I have ever had in my life. Get the red sauce with chicken! You WILL NOT regret it! It might be a little small, but this place is seriously a hidden oasis.
This is STRICTLY for all my big-time hikers looking for beautiful views. I (Beya) did this hike a few months ago and it just about kicked my butt, but it was one of the most gorgeous hikes I have ever done. Did it for sunrise so got to see the city light in addition to the sunrise (def recommend for sunset too!). But be warned, it is not a nature walk...it is a HIKE! Stairs...nonetheless. So come prepared!
For all of my nature walk friends and family looking to see beautiful red rock without the crazy hike or 2 hour drive! Visit hole-in-the-rock at Papago Park! (Tiktok, google, or insta it). The BEST view for a Phoenix sunset. It blew my mind the first time I went. Great if you are looking for a way to kill an hour or if you want to take some beautiful photos or see some new landscape!
Absolutely stunning location and a great place to go to see some of Arizona's native plants/life!
