For us, hosting an unplugged ceremony means that we kindly ask all guests to put away phones, cameras, and other devices for photo/video taking, especially during the processional. This will keep our ceremony special and will allow our photographer and videographer to capture these special moments without personal devices in their shots. The Kingdom Hall is the name for the building that Jehovah's Witnesses hold their weekly meetings at. There are no formal or religious rituals—just a Bible-based talk focused on the meaning of marriage. We kindly ask guests to dress modestly and respectfully. The atmosphere is friendly, and everyone is welcome regardless of religious background or beliefs. To help create a peaceful environment for everyone, we kindly ask that little ones - especially those who find it tough to sit still - stay comfortable at home during the ceremony. ¡Los niños son bienvenidos en el Salón del Reino para la ceremonia! For hotels, there are many that can be found within a 20 minute radius of both the ceremony and reception venue. Airbnb is also a very popular option. For car rentals, Turo is widely used in Phoenix for private rentals. Sky Harbor airport also has plenty of rental options. Our ceremony will be held indoors at the Kingdom Hall. The reception will be a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces, and all areas are paved or well-maintained—so heels are perfectly fine! In terms of the weather, the evening will be in the low 70s/high 60s. Dress accordingly! :) Nuestra ceremonia se llevará a cabo en el interior del Salón del Reino. La recepción será una combinación de espacios interiores y exteriores, y todas las áreas están pavimentadas o bien cuidadas — ¡así que los tacones están perfectamente bien! Yes, there will be a set amount of alcohol provided at the reception. However, due to venue rules, outside alcohol is strictly NOT allowed to be brought by our guests. Bringing your own to the venue, or even the parking lot, would put us in violation of our contract and could result in serious consequences. Please respect this venue policy and our personal requests, and help us keep the celebration enjoyable and dignified for everyone:) Sí, habrá una cantidad determinada de alcohol disponible en la recepción.
