Do you have a hotel room block?

Answer

Yes! We've secured a block of rooms at the Best Western Plus Delta Inn in Oakley, CA. Please see the travel section for more details.

Where is the ceremony/reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are ALL in the same place at Brownstone Gardens Estate. The entirety of the event will be outdoors. 91 Brownstone Road Oakley, CA 94561

Will parking be available?

Answer

Brownstone Gardens has a parking lot directly adjacent to the grounds. Parking is complimentary and first come first serve. You are not allowed to park on the city street.

What time should we be there?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:00pm on September 9. We kindly ask guests to arrive 15-20 minutes prior to the ceremony starting.

Is there a dress code?

We hope our wedding will be a fun excuse to wear your favorite cocktail attire!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Temperatures can stay quite warm well into September in Oakley. There will be plenty of cool shady areas provided by the trees on the grounds, but dress lightly if need be. Fans and sun hats are welcome, but super soakers are not.

Can I bring my children?

Yes! After the ceremony ends, a designated play area with a bounce house will be setup for the kids to play in.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

In order to keep our guest list on track we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Please feel free to email us with any questions.

Can I take pictures? Instagram? Snapchat?

Answer

Yes, of course! But be polite and courteous to those around you. Use the hashtag #HavingABlasWedding to post your photos on any of your favorite social media. There will also be a custom Snapchat geo-filter to use during the wedding!

Will there be food?

Answer

Uh YES!!! We will have appetizers, an open bar, and buffet style dinner, followed by a wedding cake and cupcakes!

How about alcohol?

Answer

We will have an open bar at our venue. DO NOT bring a bottle on the grounds to openly celebrate, you will be escorted off the premises immediately. However, if you want to be a rebel and bring a bottle anyway, just make sure to bring the sealed bottle to any of the bartenders and they will gladly serve you that bottle throughout the whole night to your heart's content, or until it's done.

What if I have a dietary restriction?

We are doing our best to accommodate those with special needs. A vegetarian option will be available.

Will there be dancing / entertainment?

Answer

It wouldn't be a filipino wedding without it! Bring some comfy shoes to dance the night away! But if you prefer a more laid back approach to fun, don't worry we have you covered. The Killer Dueling Pianos will be entertaining all night.

Who or What are the Killer Dueling Pianos???

Answer

Imagine live pianos playing together to a beat, while telling jokes, and playing any song you want to hear. Oldie classics like Sinatra to modern hits like Bruno Mars are all on the table. So prepare a list of songs you want to hear and just request them to the group and they'll gladly oblige!

Where are you registered at?

Answer

Your presence is our gift, we are blessed to be able to celebrate with you on our special day. However, if you feel inclined to give an additional gift, we are pleased with whatever you decide on! We do have a registry here on zola.com if you're looking for ideas.

What time will the reception end?

Answer

The reception will end at 10:00pm. For those looking for an after party, we will return to the lobby of the Best Western Plus Delta Inn to continue the night's festivities. Don't worry, management are expecting us to have a little fun. We'll probably order a pizza and beer.
