Tips for Travel
1. You likely don't need a car. Uber and an app called DiDi are available and cheap! Uber will also take you to some surrounding areas such as the beaches. It's also very easy to set up a private driver to places Uber may not go, like the ruins or cenotes. This can be done ahead of time or in Mérida.
2. Part of why we chose Mérida is for its proximity to other towns and activities. There are plenty of Mayan ruins, cenotes, and beaches nearby. Please let us know if you need any recommendations or help with tours/transportation.
3. Additionally, Mérida is packed with good sites, museums, food, drinks, etc. We've started to keep a list of spots and things to try, let us know if you'd like some suggestions.
