Magical Journey's Carriage Service

Hop over the Missouri River into Omaha's Old Market District and enjoy a ride on the carriages where Haven proposed! It truly lives up to the 'magical' in their name! And the best part...no reservation necessary! There are 3 gorgeous routes you can choose from, or let your driver surprise you! (It's even better at sunset!)

Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium

Arguably the best zoo in the country! If you've never been, it has butterflies to sharks, penguins to gorillas, and snow leopards to elephants!

The Amazing Pizza Machine

We absolutely love this place! Even though it's aimed at kids, it's also fun for adults! We love the huge buffet and limitless arcade games, but most of all, we love the go-karts and laser tag! For the best experience, expect to spend around $80-$100 for 2-4 people!

Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum

Just a half hour drive from the Missouri River is the SAC Aerospace Museum! They have lots of regular planes and military planes as well as history! If planes aren't your thing, they have a flight/roller coaster simulation ride and plenty of astronomy including a small planetarium! They often have fun events too, Jessica got to meet an astronaut, look at the sun through a special telescope, and eat cookies that they make in space!

Spaghetti Works

After your magical carriage ride, grab a bite to eat at one of the Old Market's most famous restaurants, Spaghetti Works! (Our favorites are their spaghetti & meatballs, broccoli fettucine alfredo, and the hot chocolate!) Depending on where you caught your carriage ride, it's either right across the street or a couple blocks away!

Pink Poodle Steakhouse

This is a small restaurant nestled in the Loess Hills in Crescent, IA. They have amazing prime rib, other meats, and the best homemade chicken noodle soup. It's cozy, has great service, and overall a great dining experience!

Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers

If you're in the mood for some quality fast food, stop at Raising Cane's! Haven likes KFC chicken better, but you just can't beat Cane's! Their Fruit Punch Hi-C and sweet tea are delicious!

Some of our favrotie places at Westroads are Auntie Anne's Pretzels, Bath & Body Works, Hot Topic, and Von Maur! (And of course the Raising Cane's!)
