Our Story..

At the beginning of 2021, Robby and Tara found each other on Hinge (a dating app) and they were instantly drawn to each other. After a few messages back and forth through the app, they exchanged numbers and were nonstop texting. Robby decided to ask Tara out on a dinner date. There was something in Tara's gut that made her feel comfortable enough to have him pick her up at her house, rather than meeting at the restaurant. February 24, 2021 was their first date at Ll Fornaio in Burlingame. After a few months of dating, Tara needed to make sure that Delilah likes Robby just as much as she did. So in the middle of May, Robby met Delilah for the first time at El Gran Amigo in Moss Beach and it was a success, their bond instantly started from that day on. Delilah still refers to El Gran as the "burrito place where I first met dad" Shortly after on June 6, 2021, they became official; which is ironic because the number "6" is both of their favorite numbers - go J.T. Snow! Later that month they were at the cabin in Blue Lakes where Robby pulled together the courage to tell Tara he was in love with her which made Tara even more happy because she felt it too. Not only were those two so happy and beginning to intertwine their lives, but so was Delilah - she loves seeing her mama happy and she loves Robby very much. Fast forward a couple years after attending many weddings together, trips to Blue Lakes, trips to Tahoe, Hawaii, Mexico, Giants games, doing karaoke, Stagecoach Music Festivals, getting their puppy Dallas, and all the country concerts in between - on January 28th, 2023 Robby and Tara had a date night planned, to watch the sunset (even though it was foggy) and then dinner after at Mezza Luna. Little did Tara know, Robby had a BIG surprise - as they were sitting there, trying to keep warm, watching the waves under the fog; Robby suggested to take a little walk to warm up. As they were walking - Tara turned around and Robby was on one knee and asked her to marry him. It was by far the easiest and most exciting YES! that Tara ever experienced. They can't wait to share their special day with everyone, to become a family and start planning to give Delilah a sibling (or two!)
