The Hilton Garden Inn in Dana Point is where we will be staying and would love you to join us here as well! This location is across the street from Doheny State Beach and a short walking distance from Downtown Dana Point and bars + restaurants (Sunsets, Olamendi's, and Good Choice Sushi to name a few). This hotel also has a heated pool. The wedding venue, reception, and afterparty is about 5 miles away from this location. This Hampton Inn & Suites in San Clemente is next door to our wedding and reception and is a short walk to the after-party bar (Bloom's Irish Pub). If you're looking for convenience the night of the wedding, this is the place to stay! Downtown San Clemente restaurants and beach access are about a ½ to a full mile walk away or a 5-minute drive.
House Or Rental
If you’re looking for rental houses we would recommend staying in San Clemente, Capistrano Beach or South Dana Point area. The closer you’re able to get to the venue, the easier it’ll be for transportation purposes!
Flight
John Wayne Airport is located in Santa Ana and is the closes airport to the venue (about 25 minutes). Travel in and out of this airport is very easy and we highly recommend this airport. Please keep in mind that there is a landing curfew of 11 PM. If your flight is delayed past 11 PM then you will be re-routed to LAX.
Flight
Long Beach Airport is about 45 minutes from South Orange County without traffic and is a very convenient airport to utilize. Southwest often has a lot of affordable flights from LGB (especially to and from Phoenix)
Flight
For guests coming from across the country, LAX typically has the easiest and cheapest flight in and out of Southern California. That being said, it is over an hour away from South Orange County, without traffic, and is not our favorite option for travel.
Flight
San Diego Airport is roughly an hour from South Orange County and is a great option as well! If you don't intend to rent a vehicle, there is a coastal train that you can utilize to travel between San Diego and San Clemente! If taking the train, you'll want to get off at either San Clemente or San Juan Capistrano and Uber to your intended hotel/home.
