For those of your traveling by plane to our wedding, the federal government is enacting the Real ID program. Federal agencies, including DHS and TSA, may only accept state-issued driver’s licenses and identification cards as identification for purposes. This means you'll need an "Enhanced Driver's Licence" by October 1st. More details at: https://www.dhs.gov/real-id-frequently-asked-questions
We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! Besides, weddings are boring for most kids.
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you. We want to take the pressure off of you trying to find a date. If you have a special someone, please let us know!
Cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, get comfy and have fun!
Okay. Here's the deal: we chose a boutique inn during the height of leaf-peeping season in gorgeous New England where practically no one is local. For all intents and purposes this is a destination wedding and hotels are NOT cheap! The best gift that you can give us is to come to our wedding and have fun and be part of some amazing memories. If you really want to, give us a card with some advice or ideas for traveling adventures! EDIT 2/15/2020: Geez. You guys are persistent. Okay, we have a silly registry. It's here. Seriously, you don't have to get us anything. We love you. https://www.amazon.com/wedding/share/matthewandkatie
Weeeelllll.... not really? There's a venue booked. And a photographer. And a wedding dress. And a ring! The original plan involved surprises, scheming, and a metric ton of romance, but wouldn't leave enough time for the guests to plan travel. So, an alternate plan is being hatched.... stay tuned! UPDATE: 10/13/2019: We did it! We are officially, for real engaged. We spent the day in Amherst at the Inn where we are getting married and Matt popped the question in front of the fireplace. It was adorable. Katie was crying. She still is. ;)
