How do I remove something from the registry if I bought it elsewhere?

What time should guests arrive for the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will start promptly at 2pm and will be outdoors (weather provided). Please arrive 10-15 minutes before in order to find your seat.

Yes! It’s a big surprise but it is very artistic! 😉

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?
Answer
If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can send it to our home address. A wedding card box will be at our reception. Our home address is 644 Warsaw Street Menasha WI 54952.

What type of reception is it?
Answer
We will have a buffet dinner and then will have a party! The party will have music, a dance floor, and a bar where you can purchase drinks.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Answer
Yes! The venue is wheelchair accessible and includes ramps up and down to various entrances. Bathrooms are also accessible.

Is the reception at a different venue than the ceremony?
Answer
No! The ceremony and reception will be held at the same venue to make travel easier for everyone involved.

Is there parking available at the venue?
Answer
Yes! There is a gravel parking area on the venue grounds. Parking is free. If you need assistance getting across the parking lot due to the gravel, please let us know! We’d be happy to help.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will be outside if the weather provides. The reception will be a seated dinner inside. After dinner, the party will continue indoors or outdoors.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?
Answer
Yes! The hotel block is reserved at Comfort Suites Appleton Airport. If you are staying at the hotel, a shuttle service to and from the wedding will be provided.

If you’re flying, the closest airport to any accommodations and the venue is the Appleton Airport (ATW).

What is the weather like in the area?
Answer
Wisconsin weather can be unpredictable sometimes. During the summer, the weather can be anywhere from 65° and sunny to 100° and rainy. I would be prepared to be rained on, be cold, and be piping hot in the same day. Checking the weather forecast for the day in Appleton, Wisconsin can also help you decide what to wear or bring.

Can I bring a plus-one?
Answer
We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we’d like to keep the guest list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated. We have only reserved seating for the names on your invite to ensure you are comfortable on our big day.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?
Answer
Dinner is buffet style catered by Parker Johns (the place where Emily and David had their first date). Gluten free buns will be available upon request. Please let Emily know if you will require gluten free buns on your RSVP so we can ensure that they will be available for you.

Could you give me a link to your wedding registry?

You can find our complete wedding registry here on our website under the “Registry” tab. You can purchase directly from the wishlist there. If you do not feel comfortable ordering online, feel free to reach out! Emily is more than happy to give you some ideas of items in store to purchase. Cash is also another good option if you are strapped for time as the happy couple can put it towards excursions on their honeymoon.

Our wedding day is a celebration of love, and while we appreciate your enthusiasm to help, we've got everything covered! Our amazing wedding team and vendors will ensure the day runs smoothly. The best gift you can give us is your presence, love, and support as we begin our new life together.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
Answer
We kindly ask that you keep our ceremony “unplugged” and refrain from taking any photos or videos at our ceremony. There will be a photo opportunity during the ceremony. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during this special day. Of course, phones are allowed at the event and you can take as many photos as you’d like after the ceremony!

Can I post wedding photos on social media?

Please respect our privacy and don’t share photos of our wedding on social media, as we’d like to make a formal announcement with our professional images.

Is there any gift the couple wouldn’t use?
Answer
For the most part, no. However, the bride doesn’t have pierced ears so please avoid earrings. We are honored to just have you at our wedding!
