Jennifer Hasch

Bride

Jennifer was born and raised in Louisville. She met Rashid when she was 18, right before starting college. She earned her bachelors degree from University of Louisville School of Dentistry and her masters in public health from Western Kentucky University. She is currently a program chair at Ivy Tech Community College and volunteers in many different roles. She enjoys cooking family recipes, tending to her flowers and house plants, listening to R&B, and reading non-fiction.

Rashid Harrison

Groom

Rashid was born and raised in Louisville as well. He was 22 when he met Jennifer. He earned his undergraduate degree in business management and graduate degree in organizational leadership both from Indiana Wesleyan University. He is currently a maintenance supervisor for Louisville Metro Housing Authority. He enjoys puzzles, pc/video games, Lego, sports, television, and learning new things via YouTube.

Sharon Elliott

Matron of Honor

One member of Jennifer's honor committee. Sharon and Jennifer met in 1st grade and have been close ever since. In their younger years they could be found dancing at mixers and joy riding in Okolona. As adults, they share the spectrum of womanhood experiences, from prayer requests, to funny memes, nothing is off the table with these two.

Joshua Southerling

Best Man

Joshua is Rashid's younger brother of 4 siblings. Although they have never lived together Joshua is Rashid's closest sibling and a clear choice for Best Man. Joshua often joins Jennifer and Rashid to try new restaurants in Louisville and always comes when they call. Joshua has earned himself a respectable position in the HR department at Farm Credit. He is a world traveler and has lived in Germany multiple times.

Jesse Dunbar

Man of Honor

Part of Jennifer's honor committee. Jesse and Jennifer met in 2002 as sandwich artists at Subway. They ventured to college together at University of Louisville and have remained very close over the years. Although Jesse moved out of state in 2017, their friendship has remained constant with frequent calls, carefully curated social events, and world traveling.

Mike Moffitt

Groomsman

Mike and Rashid have been best friends for decades. What started out as teammates in high school sports has grown into a brotherhood of friendship. Their friendship includes frequent phone calls discussing mental health awareness, debating all things sports, and psychology. They inspire each other to be better versions of themselves and invite others to challenge themselves as well. Mike is currently in graduate school to earn his psychology degree where he plans to be a therapist.

Candace Jackson

Matron of Honor

Part of Jennifer's honor committee. Candace and Jennifer met in summer of 2004 and were fast friends. There is a sister-like synergy between them that allows them to support each other through the ups and downs of life. Regardless of the phase of life, they can laugh and cry together with no sense of judgement or self consciousness. Their friendship is a safe sisterhood.

Brandon Moore

Groomsman

Rashid and Brandon have been friends since tee ball days. They grew up in the same neighborhood. They have supported each other through many phases of life and have a special brotherhood. Brandon is a happily married family man that spends his leisure time coaching multiple sports and supporting his kids in all the sports they play. Brandon also earned a graduate degree from Indiana Wesleyan.
