Best Man
Muntasir (aka Monty) is Hasan's first cousin and best man. He was also the first person in the family to hear about Hanin. As one of the more athletic family members, he and Hasan have played a lot of sports together. Monty always gives it his all, even tearing his ACL trying to score a goal for Hasan's soccer team.
Heba Sammour
Maid of Honor
Heba is Hanin's older sister, best friend and all-around amazing human. She’s also one of the smartest people we know, recently graduating with a Masters of Science in Education in Educational Leadership. Heba has helped Hanin grow into the women she is today, and she couldn't be more thankful. Hanin will definitely miss having Heba's closet driving distance from her when she moves in with Hasan!
Noor Sarsour

Noor is another one of Hasan's cousins. He's an all around great guy and is always willing to help out or be there for you whenever he's called upon. He and Monty grew up together, so it's rare to see one without the other.
Rayann Jaber

Rayann is Hanin's childhood best friend. They've shared lots of car karaoke sessions, secrets, and a ton of Macaron dates. It is safe to say Rayann knows Hanin better than anyone! She recently graduated from the University of Memphis with a Childhood Development degree. Rayann loves anything regarding helping children. We love Rayann for her huge heart, cheeky sense of humor, and ability to find the positive side of every situation!
Jake Nelson

Like most of Hasan's friends, he and Jake met freshman year at JMU. At first, Hasan tried to minimize his time with Jake since he liked to head-butt his friends for fun. Once Jake finally grew out of that phase, they hung out a lot more often. Hasan and Jake are the premier soccer/volleyball players in their friend circle.
Huriya Sammour

Huriya is Hanin's eldest sister. Although Huriya moved to California when Hanin was fairly young, they never seemed to have broken their sisterly bond. She is definitely the life of the party in any room she is in and never fails to cheer everyone up. Huriya is loved for her sense of humor, dependability, and honesty! If any one will make sure this wedding moves smoothly, it is definitely her!
Ross Moulton

Hasan and Ross met as freshman year roommates at JMU, and they've been friends ever since. Even though Ross has lived in a few different cities since graduation, he's always made it a point to keep in touch. Now that he's moved to the DC area, Hasan looks forward to more fun times ahead.
Alaa Kazzaz

Hanin's sister in law and favorite Target partner! You can catch them together at the mall, getting their nails done, or eating! Alaa has been in Hanin's life for over 10 years and they have shared tons of memories. Alaa was the first person Hanin told about Hasan and has been there since day one!

Brian is another one of Hasan's friends from JMU. He was Hasan's roommate for three years in school and for a short time after graduation. He's a good friend and has certainly earned the "Best All Around" superlative he was given in college.
Salwa Bahhur

Salwa is Hanin's sister-in-law and the first person she calls when she's in trouble. From helping her with her classes to helping her get out of a speeding ticket, (and trust us...that is very often) Salwa is someone Hanin always knows will have her back no matter the situation.

Another Brian from JMU? Real original! We call this one Z-Man (or Z for short). Hasan and Z have hung out a lot over the years, despite not liking any of the same sports teams.
Bayann Jaber

Bayann: The type friend who stops and waits for you to tie your shoe while everyone else keeps walking! Hanin can always count on Bayann to stop whatever she's doing to help her no matter the situation. Although Bayann is the cub of the friend group, she brings the loudest roar!
Chet Patel

Hasan met Chet through his friendship with Jake. As the only two minorities in a large group of friends, Chet and Hasan instantly clicked and became friends. While both are big DC sports fans, neither one of them knows how to swim.
Haneen Jaber

If Hanin had to share a name with anyone, she's glad it's this girl! Haneen is one of Hanin's closest friends and definitely the person she would choose to help her rob a bank (mostly for her insanely fast driving skills). These two girls are always up to no good when they're together. From skipping classes to eat with Hanin to now getting to help her walk down the aisle.
