Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable in whatever you decide to wear, but we also want you to dress up for a night and help us feel a little classy for the evening! The reception is planned to take place mostly outside (weather permitting), so please plan accordingly.

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There is a small parking lot that hotel guests have access to with a parking pass. Additionally, there are a ton of street parking spaces around the hotel block as well as within walking distance of The Oxbow that you can utilize.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love all of the kids in our family and in yours, we are asking that you find alternative care for your kids. We have adult friendly events planned that would not allow children. We would like you to come and enjoy an adults only weekend away from your littles!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

When you RSVP through the website, you will see whether or not you have a guest included in your invitation. We have limited space with this particular venue, and ask that you do not bring any uninvited guests.

Where can I stay in Eau Claire?

Answer

We have secured all 30 rooms in the hotel for the night of the wedding. We encourage our guests to book with The Oxbow.

Question

What will the reception be like?

Answer

We have opted to forego the traditional DJ and dance floor reception. We will not be doing first dances, speeches, or anything that will take away time from spending with everyone. Instead, we have chosen to have a more relaxed reception, allowing us to spend time with all of our guests and allowing all of you to choose how you want to spend your night. The bar will be open all night ;)
