We're getting married!

Kelly and Emily met on Bumble, but soon realized that they were connected in more ways than one. Emily had worked with Kelly's brother Matt at McHenry East High School, not knowing they were related. Upon meeting for the first time, Emily and Kelly realized that not only did they have mutual friends, but they frequented the same places and had probably crossed paths at one point before formally meeting.

Kelly always jokes he's a part time firefighter and a full time athlete. Between baseball, fast pitch softball, and just about every other sport you can recreationally play, Kelly does it all. Emily always goes and supports Kelly all summer long at his games. Fast pitch softball brought them up to Eau Claire for tournaments and they fell in love with the city. Wrigley Field and the Cubs hold a special place for them, as they have done just about everything at the Friendly Confines that a person can do. They have gone to countless games, a concert to see Fall Out Boy, ice skated in the outfield, and got engaged in the Catalina Club. The only thing left on the bucket list is to enjoy some play off baseball (and hopefully another World Series run) together. Kelly and his friends have always gone to concerts together, and live music is something he's been enjoying since high school. During their time together, they go to as many concerts that their schedule allows. Summerfest, The Rave in Milwaukee, and even different stadiums have provided them with some amazing shows. Since meeting, Emily has developed just as much of a love for live music and they are always looking towards their next show together.

We know we have so many people who love us and want to celebrate our day. While we are so grateful for everyone in our lives, we have chosen to spend our day with a very small group of friends and family. We spent so much time building a guest list and we wish we could choose to include everyone. Please know that if we were able to host a wedding to accommodate everyone, we would. We appreciate everyone’s love and support and can’t wait to catch up with anyone who can’t be there with us on our day.
