San Francisco
If you have an extra day to spare, consider exploring San Francisco. We recommend PIER 39 to see the famous sea lions sunbathing on the docks, the Marin Headlands to see a phenomenal view of the Golden Gate Bridge, and Golden Gate Park for its amazing museums. Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve
If you're up for a hike, this state park has stunning California redwoods to explore.
Goat Rock Beach
If you want to see the coast before leaving California, this is a great option. This beach is located in Jenner, a cute coastal town not too far from Healdsburg. Kurt and I have visited this beach to read and walk Swiss.
Castello di Amorosa
The famous castle winery! Kurt and I went here the first year we moved to California. While it's a little touristy, it's a great introduction to Napa Valley and sits on beautiful grounds.
Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center
Located nearby in Santa Rosa, this is a fun museum stop for anyone who enjoys the Peanuts.
Fishetarian Fish Market
Nestled on Highway 1, this casual eatery is a great spot to sit by the coast and enjoy fresh seafood. Bodega Bay is also a cute coastal town worth exploring.
Lo & Behold Bar + Kitchen
This spot is in downtown Healdsburg and is perfect for dinner and drinks.

This is an easy place to grab a fun drink. The downstairs restaurant is pretty fancy but worth it if you're up for a splurge.
Russian River Brewing Company
Kurt and I love to explore breweries around the Bay, and this just so happens to be a great one! There's a Santa Rosa and Windsor location.
