Like many modern love stories, ours began during a very busy time in our lives. We were both focused on building our careers, with little free time to spare. But one day, we both decided to give Hinge a try — and thankfully, the algorithm knew what it was doing. From the beginning, everything clicked. Marina’s dog, Lemon, made an early appearance and has been part of our story ever since. We also discovered that we shared a passion for adventure — especially in the skies. Flying together in our airplane has become one of our favorite ways to disconnect, explore, and create memories from a few thousand feet up. One of those flights turned into a very special afternoon that we'll cherish forever. In just a short time, we’ve built a life full of laughter, love, and countless adventures. We’re so excited to begin this next chapter, and we can’t wait to celebrate it with you!

So, about that flight that changed our lives… On a sunny October day that felt like it was made just for us, we took off and flew over DC, across the Chesapeake Bay to the charming and remote Tangier Island. With its quiet streets, timeless charm, and wide-open beaches, it was the perfect hidden gem for what was about to happen next. After landing on the island’s cozy little airstrip, we strolled down to the beach, letting the salty breeze and soft sand set the scene. With the waves as our soundtrack and not another soul in sight, Tom got down on one knee and asked the question that would change our lives forever. And Marina said yes! We celebrated with happy tears, sandy shoes, and a golden-hour flight home—hearts full and ready for forever. It was the perfect start to this next adventure together.
