The Wedding Website of Jessica Chang and Nicholas Hartnett
Because Palm Springs and Joshua Tree offer a wide range of activities, we have decided to forego a traditional hotel block in favor of allowing you to choose your own adventure. To help you decide, we have compiled a list of hotels and airbnbs to guide you, and if you'd like to stay somewhere in proximity to other wedding guests, we can help you connect and group up. First, you'll want to decide if you want to be a Vacationer or a Traveler.

Hotel

The Vacationer.

Your perfect day looks like an afternoon spent tanning by the pool with drink in hand, trying the latest and trendiest sushi joint in town for dinner, then coming home to a clean room with your bed turned down. A lazy day is a day well spent. Palm Springs is the place for you. Hotels with beautiful pools and spas aplenty, this wedding weekend will be the perfect time for you to unwind, decompress, and relax. Tap the link to see a sampling of our favorite Palm Spring hotels. *Note: Transportation for the wedding will be provided from Palm Springs, but note that you will be a 45 minute drive from the venue.

House Or Rental

The Traveler.

Your perfect day begins at the crack of dawn when you drive into Joshua Tree National Park after grabbing a quick bite at a nearby drive-through. You spend the day scrambling on rocks and admiring the various cacti species before driving up to the top of a mountain to catch the sun setting over Palm Springs below. You will want to stay in an Airbnb in Joshua Tree to minimize distance to the park. This wedding weekend is an excuse to check another National Park off your bucket list. Tap the link below for a non-exhaustive list of beautiful homes in the area. *Note: Joshua Tree is famous for it's landscape, but not its food. Expect to be somewhat self-reliant in that department.

Travel Note

Travel Questionnaire

Fill out this survey if you think you'd be interested in carpooling/staying with other guests.

Flight

Palm Springs Airport

Palm Springs has a small airport with direct flights from both Chicago and New York City. However, LAX tends to have more flights, and is about a 2 hour drive from Palm Springs. If you'd like to carpool with other wedding guests, let us know!
