You gotta do it once! Walk around the updated waterfront, watch people throw fish, buy a bouquet. Check out the gum wall, walk past the first Starbucks (no need to wait in line to go in unless you're a die hard fan), and buy a pastry at Mee Sum.
You can see the Space Needle from many locations in Seattle, but if you do want to go to the top, there are fantastic views of the city and the surrounding mountains on a nice day!

Looking to take one of the iconic Washington ferries? Taking the ferry from downtown Seattle to Bainbridge Island is one of the quickest ways to do it! Bainbridge is an island close to Seattle that has a cute little downtown to explore!
If you are making a trip out of your visit, we highly recommend visiting Mount Rainier National Park. Rainier is beautiful from a far, but nothing beats her beauty up close. Believe it or not, there is a good likelihood you will encounter snow if hiking in higher elevations at this time of year, but wildflowers will start to be blooming in lower elevation areas.

Leavenworth is a great way to access beautiful mountains but also have the luxury of a larger town with many amenities. Leavenworth is a Bavarian-styled town that was intentionally created for tourism after its original logging industry collapsed in the 1960's.
