We're so excited to celebrate with you!

We met through the South Lyon Aquatics swim team during the winter state meet in Holland, Michigan. Although Zach was initially introduced as “Kansas” (his nickname at the time), we quickly got to know each other over the long swim meet and one carefully orchestrated frozen yogurt run. We began dating shortly before attending each other’s high school proms and we continued to date while attending Oakland University for our bachelor’s degrees (go Grizzlies!). After some time, we realized that we were ready to spend the rest of our lives together. Zach proposed at sunset on the Brooklyn Bridge in NYC on August 14th, 2021. The moment was captured with the help of Alexis' friend and Maid of Honor, Shannon who is currently living in Brooklyn. We are so excited to celebrate this special day in our lives with our friends and family!
