Answer

August 17th!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

When you RSVP, please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions, and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! We love your kiddos and they are absolutely welcome! If you'd prefer childcare for any portion of the festivities, we're happy to share local babysitter information: Nannies of the Valley website: nanniesofthevalley.net Email: bethany@nanniesofthevalley.net

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to space constraints, we can only accommodate named guests on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, please see our "Schedule" page for details regarding dress codes for all events.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

While we have not arranged transportation between the hotels and the venue, there is an on-site valet service available. For guests planning to use Uber or Lyft, please be aware that rideshare availability can be limited in the Carneros area. We recommend pre-booking your ride to help ensure a smooth trip to and from the venue. Another option is to use a local taxi service, Napa Red Cab (http://www.naparedcab.net/).

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is a valet service at the entrance.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at 3 pm.

Question

What is a baraat? Am I expected to be a part of it?

Answer

Traditionally in an Indian wedding, the baraat is the groom's wedding procession, where his family and friends dance their way to the ceremony while the bride's family welcomes them upon arrival. For our wedding, we'd love for everyone to join in the fun! Whether you're Team Bride, Team Groom, or somewhere in between, come dance, celebrate, and help us kick off the festivities.

Question

Is there an after party?

Answer

Not a planned one...

Question

What would the weather be like?

Answer

With a potentially strong El Niño this year, we are anticipating warm daytime temperatures in the high 70s to mid-80s. However, Napa is known for its cooler evenings, and temperatures can drop significantly after sunset. We recommend bringing a light jacket or shawl to stay comfortable later in the evening. We will keep this space updated as we know more closer to the date.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We would absolutely love for you to join us for a welcome party on October 16 and farewell brunch on October 18. Please see our "Schedule" page for details.

Question

Are you registered? Can we bring cash or other gifts to the ceremony?

Answer

We are so thrilled that you are joining us in celebrating our special day. Your presence means the world to us and is the biggest gift we could ever ask for. We are not accepting any additional gifts.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have secured a limited room block at the River Terrace Inn in downtown Napa. Please visit our "Travel" page for booking details, as well as additional hotel recommendations.
