Father and Mother of the Bride
The father and step-mother of the bride are happily retired in Palm Coast, Florida. When they aren’t eating bolognese in Italy or taking a cruise to an exotic new location, they enjoy lounging at the beach, playing pickleball, and exploring the coast on their e-bikes. Tom and Kelly first met when she was born in 1991. The father of the bride first took her skiing as an infant in a backpack at Snowmass, Colorado. Childhood trips to Vail sparked her love of skiing that inspired her move to Colorado and dream of this mountain wedding.
Lynda & Chris McElroy
Mother and Father of the Groom
The mother and father of the groom are living their golden years north of Chicago. Lynda is the life of the party, regularly embarking on dance cruises, buying Harry’s first beer at a Cub’s game, and running the card table. Chris took the family on many camping trips to places like Glacier, Grand Teton, and Yellowstone National Parks, which may have preordained Harry’s move to Colorado. Always incredibly supportive, Lynda and Chris seldom discouraged new hobbies of Harry or his sisters, which is how skiing and snowboarding became a recurring family trip despite Chris’s aversion to it and Lynda’s fledgling experience.

Boris and Harry met via a mutual friend mountain biking at Vail a decade ago. At that time both were in graduate school for engineering at the University of Colorado and have been snowboarding, mountain biking, climbing, and attending EDM shows over the years since, even being roommates on a few occasions. Since Harry met Kelly, Boris has time and again joined for camping trips, concerts, dinner dates, and hitting the slopes. Boris holds a PhD in chemical engineering and is co-founder and CTO of Big Blue Technologies.
Kylie Meyer
Bridesmaid
Kylie and Kelly met through figure skating when they were about eleven years old. Since then they have travelled the world together. They’ve swam with sea turtles in Hawaii, explored castles in France, saw Fourth of July fireworks in New York, skied in Vail and Breckenridge, hiked Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs, and more! Kylie has a PhD in gerontology and her education has led her to live in many places across the globe. She now resides with her husband, James, and two cats in Cleveland, Ohio.
Tim Stanton
Best Man
Tim and Harry first met moving into a house in Boulder. The house was also shared with Steve and John, with Tim being a Craigslist find. While there are plenty of Craigslist horror stories, Tim was quite the exception. Prior to meeting Tim, all Harry heard about him was that he was from Chicago, was a Blackhawks fan, worked as an engineering consultant, and had a ski pass. The time shared living in that house had countless adventures: century bike rides, Beer Olympics, Red Rocks concerts, long backpacking weekends, pond hockey tournaments, and ski trips, to name a few. At one of those pond hockey tournaments, Tim met his wonderful wife, Heidi. Tim and Heidi are proud parents of two children.
Mara Minasian
Bridesmaid
Mara and Kelly met through figure skating when they were about five years old and have been best friends ever since. They skated on the same team in high school, were roommates in college, and kept in touch with hours-long weekly phone calls during their years living in different states. Recently, Mara moved to Colorado with her fiance, John, and is now Kelly’s neighbor. Mara is a psychiatric nurse and loves snowboarding, rock climbing, exploring national parks, and walking her goldendoodle, Leo.
Steve DeMars
MC
Steve and Harry met playing rugby at the University of Colorado. Steve, Mat, Kevin, and Harry roomed together to form the Rugby House, complete with decorative wall pants, a separated instrument / study room, and a furnace filter that was never changed in 3 years. After undergrad Steve and Harry again roomed together, this time with Tim and John. Steve took a leave from Colorado to earn an MBA from Johns Hopkins. Upon returning to Colorado he became a mortgage banker and married his incredible wife, Abby. Steve is a master of mind over matter, sharing such wisdom as, “There is no bad weather, only bad clothing.” Steve enjoys mountain biking, skiing, and helping out in the community.

Tara and Kelly met in 2017 when Tara moved to Colorado from Florida. They bonded over a shared love of aerial silks dance, hiking, painting, reading, animals, and personal growth. Tara now lives in rural Wisconsin with her fiance, Nick, two horses, two cats, two snakes, and a donkey, and works as a data analyst.
