The Wedding Website of Anastasia Weeks and Jeff Harris
Arriving to Whidbey Island: Mukilteo/Clinton Ferry Port Townsend/Keystone Ferry *reservation required* Deception Pass Bridge Mukilteo ferry terminal is 40 miles from SeaTac Airport / 5 miles from Paine Field Regional Airport. After a 10 minute crossing, Clinton's ferry terminal is just 5 miles from our wedding location. The Port Townsend Ferry (from the Olympic Peninsula) docks in Coupeville! Deception Pass Bridge is 100 miles from SeaTac (driving this route will avoid potentially LONG ferry lines which can impact crossing on nice weekends!). After the bridge, it is another 45 miles (60ish mins) drive down the island to the Weeks' house where the ceremony and reception will take place. Transportation: Ride shares do not exist, so plan to have a vehicle before arriving on Whidbey! **Even if you are local to Washington State, you may choose to arrive to Whidbey EXTRA early Saturday to beat ferry traffic. We'd hate for you to miss the event due to lines/unanticipated shutdowns**

#1 Seatac Airport

There are 2 airports in proximity to us: Seatac is a major airport - located 51 miles south of Whidbey Island - and will offer the best airfare prices and the most flight options. Be sure to rent a vehicle before arriving to Whidbey! Meeting the rest of your party on Whidbey? The Seatac Shuttle might be right for you: https://www.seatacshuttle.com/

Flight

#2 Paine Field Regional Airport

Located just minutes from the Mukilteo/Clinton Ferry terminal, this regional airport is quite a convenient flight option if you are booking with Alaska Airlines! With just 4 gates, this tiny airport offers the most relaxing travel experience. Be sure to rent a vehicle before arriving to Whidbey!

Travel Note

TRAVEL NOTE

On Whidbey we live by the ferry schedule! Our running joke, that everyone is laid back and operates on "Island Time" until it comes time to patiently wait for the ferry crossing, is especially true during the summer tourist season. (Ask Jeff when you see him about his two most memorable confrontational encounters while waiting peacefully in the ferry line). Pay close attention to the signage and join the line AT THE APPROPRIATE TIME to ensure you do not accidentally cut in line and get turned around when you finally make it to the toll booths. Joining the line too soon or too late can have consequences! Take a moment to click the embedded link for WSF info/schedules or phone a friend to learn which ferry requires a reservation and which one operates on a first-come-first serve basis. We have said it before and we will remind you again, the summer ferry lines on a nice weather weekend can be staggering (3-4 hrs is normal). Plan ahead to accommodate and bring snacks!
