Visit the world’s largest independent bookstore while you are in Portland! They sell used and new books, and even walking around floor by floor the bookstore is an adventure. There even is a rare book room that includes 9,000 antiquarian, autographed, and highly valuable volumes.
Portland Japanese Garden
The Portland Japanese Garden is a beautiful spot to visit while exploring Portland. Often considered one of the most authentic Japanese gardens outside of Japan, it features peaceful walking paths, stunning landscaping, and scenic views overlooking the city. Great for a relaxing afternoon in the area.
International Rose Test Garden
The International Rose Test Garden is one of Portland’s most iconic attractions, featuring thousands of blooming roses and beautiful views of the city and Mount Hood on clear days. It’s a great place for a scenic walk, photos, or simply enjoying the outdoors while visiting Portland.
Hood River Fruit Loop
A scenic 35-mile drive through orchards, wineries, cideries, and lavender farms. Great for fruit picking, wine tasting, and photo ops.
Vista House at Crown Point

Multnomah Falls
Oregon’s most iconic waterfall — 620 feet tall! There's a lodge, gift shop, and paved trail to the bridge. Don’t need to hike at all to get to the views!
