What is the parking situation for the ceremony?

Answer

St. Xavier's is located at the corner of Lindell and Grand on Saint Louis University's campus. Street parking on Lindell Blvd is free on the weekends! There are two parking garages on SLU's campus, the Olive garage and the Laclede garage. Both garages charge a $2 per hour fee and are roughly a 5-10 minute walk to the church.

Clarification on reception venue.

Answer

There are two reception spaces at Fort Woods and we want to dismantle any confusion. Our reception is being held at the Horizon Room located at 1 Country Club Dr. Upon entering the golf course, you will see two buildings, one to the right and one to the left of the main road. The Horizon room is located within the building to the right and has a flag pole in front. The building to the left, called The Barn, is NOT our reception space. If you head to The Barn you will most likely be crashing someone else's wedding.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by March 21st, 2026! If we do not receive your response by this date, we will assume you're unable to attend. Update: Our RSVP deadline is now closed! Thank you to all our friends and family that took the time to RSVP for our special day. Our guest list is now closed as we finalize arrangements. We cannot wait to celebrate with you!!

What should we do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We acknowledge the awkward break in time between the ceremony and reception. On the "Things To Do" tab, we have listed our favorite coffee shop and local park in St. Charles, MO. Downtown St. Charles/ St. Charles Main Street is directly between St. Xavier's and Fort Woods golf course if you take Interstate 70 going westbound. St. Charles Main Street is a great place to walk around, grab a coffee or drink, and do some window shopping. We currently live about 5 minutes from Main Street and frequently enjoy walks, date nights, and time spent with friends there.

What should we wear?

Answer

Short answer: whatever you want! Long answer: "dress code" is semi formal. All events will be located inside but will have an option to gather outside if personally desired.

Who should I contact with questions or concerns?

Answer

Please reach out to the bride at 636-317-7847. You are more than welcome to text the groom at 636-812-5498. The groom might not know the answer to your questions and may end up just asking the bride.
