Cocktail attire is a combination between formal and elegant. To an event with this dress code, men typically wear a suit and tie while women wear a cocktail dress. Here are some recommendations from Brides.com: All experts agree that a suit and tie are required for cocktail attire. Go with darker hues in chillier months or for evening events. No jeans! For women, it is still an occasion to dress up, but a full-length gown is not necessary. This merges the silhouette of a garden party dress (shorter) with the fabric and embellishments of a formal gown. Think somewhere between a sophisticated formal occasion and office or party wear. Remember: The goal is to look polished and dressy, but not so much so that you take away from the bride.
We value the health and safety of our guests, especially those who are at a high risk for severe illness. We pray you prioritize this as well and get vaccinated. For those who are medically exempt or not eligible, we ask that you get tested prior to our big day and wear a mask. We want everyone to be able to celebrate safely with low risk to the ones we love the most.
