The two of us met at Summerfest in Ankeny. We were brought along with our mutual friends, who were dating at the time. We don't believe either of us had held a conversation together before meeting. During the night, we were awkwardly pressured into taking a photo together. Our arms around each other, each of us sweaty from the summer heat, we smiled awkwardly for the camera. Little did we know it would be our first picture together. And later that fall, Jack asked Mallory to homecoming: The start of us. :)
