Mount Lemmon is a spectacular place to explore. The geographic layers that build the Catalina Mountains are studied globally and experiencing the drive up Mount Lemmon will transport you to another world from the desert floor. Getting to the top in the town of Summerhaven, you'll find the newly renovated Mt. Lemmon Lodge with its breathtaking views and rustic decor offering a comfortable setting to relax after hiking one the many trails on the mountain. Though you do need a vehicle to drive the hour up the mountain, you will certainly enjoy the entire experience! Not to mention, the cooler temperatures on the mountain offer a pleasant relief from the desert heat.
