Shundra was blessed to meet Brandi during kindergarten. Throughout the years and several cross-country moves, the two have stayed close. Brandi's project management skills have been integral in the wedding planning process and Shundra is excited to have Brandi by her side on the big day.
Emmanuel Vila
Best Man
Harris and Emmanuel first met when they were safety patrols in second grade. They lost touch with each other when they went to different middle schools, but reconnected in high school when they bumped into each other at a band competition. Emmanuel is like a brother to Harris and they have been inseparable since that chance meeting at a band competition. Harris is grateful to have his brother stand next to him at the altar.
Shae Earl
Bridesmaid
Shundra met Shae during college. The two lived on the same floor during their sophomore year. Shundra would constantly go into Shae's dorm room and never leave. The two are still going strong. They both live in Nashville and will be bridesmaids in each other's weddings this year.
Brandon Grillo
Groomsman
Harris met Brandon in 7th grade in band class but they became close friends in high school. They would hang out every day during lunch and chat online after school. They were thrilled to find out that they both got into the University of Florida. They were roommates freshman and sophomore year of college and had many adventures together. Brandon is Harris's best friend and Harris is honored to have him as his groomsman.
Kevia Carter
Bridesmaid
Shundra met Kevia during college. They are both members of the Distinguished Gamma Delta Chapter of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority Incorporated. The two were also roommates for a year while Shundra was in law school and Kevia was in nursing school. Shundra is thrilled to have her sorority sister in the wedding.
Kevin Wang
Groomsman
Kevin and Harris met through mutual friends in a chemical engineering class. They immediately clicked and would hang out and study together all the time. Kevin invited Harris to church and bible study and was a supportive friend when Harris decided to become a Christian. Harris and Kevin love to be silly and joke around with each other but also have deep conversations and encourage each other constantly. Harris cannot wait to stand with Kevin on the big day.
Alana Seixas Meyer
Bridesmaid
Shundra met Alana while they were both in law school. Alana lived in the same apartment as Shundra and they instantly bonded over Nashville hot chicken and tea. Alana and Shundra overcame the struggles of law school together and Shundra is grateful to have her rock beside her on her wedding day.
Amin Ghafouri
Groomsman
Harris met Amin at a social event in grad school. For the next couple of weeks, they would randomly bump into each other all over campus. They soon realized that they were fated to be best friends. They bonded over their love of music (especially hip-hop) and went to countless concerts together. They can have the deepest and most hilarious conversations together for hours on end. Harris is happy to have Amin stand with him as his groomsman on his wedding day.
Katie Stanger
Bridesmaid
Shundra met Katie during law school. Katie is one of the kindest persons that Shundra knows. During law school she would often cook her dinners and she made sure that Shundra created a balance between studying and having fun. Plus Katie and Shundra were study partners for the bar exam. From Nashville to New York and back to Nashville again, Shundra is ready to have Katie by her side for one of the most important days of her life.
Juan Carlos Cordova
Groomsman
Juan Carlos (aka JC) and Harris met in their research lab in grad school. JC was extremely helpful to Harris by showing him the ropes in the lab and they quickly bonded through their love for indie rock, hip-hop, and comedy. Their friendship made difficult days in lab fly by and they worked well together on research projects. They would often end a long week of experiments by playing pool and eating chicken tenders at McDougal's Chicken. Harris is grateful to have JC as a friend and is excited to have him as a groomsman.
Kaneidra Lee
Bridesmaid
Shundra met Kaneidra in grade school. The two have endured high school and college applications together. They've laughed together over our physics grades and were even each other's prom date. Shundra is ecstatic to have Kaneidra by her side again when she puts on a different type of fancy dress.
Chris Cartagena
Groomsman
Harris and Chris met in their dorm freshman year of college. They would hang out together all the time, watch funny videos online and go on adventures in Gainesville. Their conversations are always fun and effortless. Despite their very different personalities, they understand each other better than most people. Chris is one of Harris's most loyal friend and he is happy to have him as a groomsman.
