Alex and Suzana met in 6th grade at Knox Middle School. Not only have they made plenty of memories in the past 14 years, they also shared a 15 x 10 foot room of Moore Hall. Some credit has to be given to Suze for Matt and Alex connecting at UNCC.
Steve Allen
Best Man
Steve is Matt's dad. He has taught Matt countless life lessons and has been one of the most influential people throughout Matt's life. Matt and Steve talk daily, and their conversations typically involve Steve asking whether Summit (Matt and Alex's dog) has been out to play ball yet that day.
Sallie Kate Meyerhoeffer

Sallie Kate and Alex met in 5th grade at Overton Elementary. They have been through everything imaginable and remained close through it all. You can probably catch them laughing uncontrollably about something, which happens almost every time they are together.
Clark Allen
Groomsman
Clark and Matthew met at freshman orientation at UNC Charlotte. He is the one who introduced Matthew and Alex on move-in day their freshman year. As roommates during college, they made many fond memories together, most of which involve Clark somehow injuring himself.
Meredith Gross

Meredith is the person who made Alex a big sister. Their conversations often revolve around crazy cats and Chili's chocolate molten cake. Alex has loved watching Meredith grow up but can also tell some interesting stories from when she was younger, one might even involve capturing a baby squirrel.
Matt Johnson

Matt Johnson has been one of Matt’s closest friends over the past seven years, beginning when they met before going off to college together. They’ve made endless memories over the years including (extended) cruises, trips to Santeetlah, and spending time near a grill.
Samantha Gross
Bridesmaid
Sam is Alex's littlest sister (although she frequently reminds Alex that she is taller). Sam and Alex are also known as roller coaster buddies because when Sam was little Alex would take her on roller coasters at various theme parks.
Joey Crapster
Groomsman
Joey and Matt lived in the same dorm their freshman year and met in Chemistry class. Some of their greatest memories together involve running a 5K and July 4th trips to the beach.
Kristen Allen
Bridesmaid
Kristen is Matt's younger sister. Alex has loved getting to know Kristen over the past six years and is very excited about gaining another sister. If there is anything that Kristen and Alex have learned over the years, it is that no leftovers are safe when Matt is around.
Drew Murphy
Groomsman
Drew and Matt met during Matt’s first year of college, although they both grew up in Lexington. They even lived together for a few years. Drew thinks Matt and Alex’s dog, Summit, likes him better, but we all know she just likes all of the food he constantly feeds her off of his plate.
