FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as possible so we can arrange food and cabins. We need responses no later than July 1, 2024. Be sure to include any food allergy information in your RSVP.

Question

What is the food situation for the weekend?

Answer

We will be providing dinner Friday and Saturday and a light breakfast Saturday and Sunday. There will be a food truck (Cecelia's Kitchen) coming out Saturday from 10:30-2:30pm with food available for purchase. We recommend bringing snacks and drinks to supplement for the weekend. You should also bring any drinks you will want to have during the day. We will provide beer, wine, and cocktails on Saturday night and beer and wine on Friday night.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Friday night please wear your best denim outfit (Canadian Tuxedo). Saturday evening is semi-formal or cocktail attire.

Question

Do you have a packing list?

Answer

Don't forget to bring bathing suits, hiking boots, and running shoes (for camp games). There are pickle ball courts, tennis courts, volleyball nets, and basketball courts so feel free to bring clothing that would be appropriate for any of those sports if you are planning to play. Remember essential toiletries including bug spray and sunscreen. You may want to bring a cooler, we will have drinks for the wedding but we encourage you to bring your own drinks and snacks for the weekend. Food can be kept in your cabin but please be mindful of how it is packaged so you don't attract bugs. Other essentials are a reusable water bottle, headlamp/flashlight, and a rain jacket (just in case). Don't forget your sheets, a pillow, and towels (for the lake/pool and showering) as well. You may also want to bring a fan for sleeping as the cabins are not air conditioned.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

All camp games and activities are open to everyone throughout the weekend. On Saturday morning we will have organized camp games beginning at 10am, the schedule will be posted at camp!

Question

Can we bring our children?

Answer

Although we absolutely love your little ones, please only bring the family members who are listed on your invite. There is an open lake and swimming pool at camp and we have decided to reduce risks and have this be an adult-only event. Thanks for understanding!

Question

How much privacy will I have in my cabin?

Answer

This is summer camp, you will be sleeping in a common space with bunk beds. Each room has about 10 beds, although some have more. We will attempt to group people together who already know each other or we know will have fun together. We will be assigning people to bunks and you will find out your assignment when you arrive at camp, in true summer camp fashion. There is a shower and toilet attached to each bunk room, these have curtains for privacy but no doors. There are bathrooms with doors available in the main house.

Question

Can I bring my dog?

Answer

Unfortunately our contract states that no animals are allowed at camp.

Question

Will there be phone service and/or wifi?

Answer

There is cell service at the camp and wifi is available in the main lodge.
