What the heck should I wear?

Answer

We're getting married on the beach, and the weather will be a balmy 23-25 degrees. We're both wearing spiffy suits and wedding dresses so although we're having a beach wedding, we'd love you to dress smart too. 'Beachy cocktail' is the best way to describe our dress code. Ladies, the ground isn't great for heels, so leave them at home.

Do I need to book activities in advance?

Answer

Once you're on the island, the wonderful Lady Elliot team will let you know about snorkelling and diving options, so no need to book on anything until you're there. We've got one activity already sorted - we're taking you on a Snorkel Safari on the day after our wedding!

Do I have signal on the island?

Answer

Welcome to a forced digital detox! There is very little signal on the island, so prepare to be totally in the moment for a couple of days.

What time does the party start?

Answer

You'll be picked up from the Lady Elliot Island dive shop at 3.45 to be taken to our beach ceremony which starts at 4. We'll then have canapes and champs as the sun sets, followed by dinner and dancing. Our party wraps up at 11pm. The following day, we're going for a snorkel together to find some mantas and turtles, and watch us 'Do It In A Dress!'.
