We met while working together on a diving boat on the Great Barrier Reef. For six months, we were best friends. Until one night, when we were dancing to some terrible techno song at a local backpacker bar and shared a smooch, we realised we may be more than friends. The rest, as they say, is history (that we'd be happy to share or reminisce on over a Thirsty Turtle beer at Lady Elliot Island). The Great Barrier Reef holds a special place in our hearts. It brought us together, and almost seven years later, we're still the happiest when we are underwater, chasing turtles. We would love you to join us at our favourite place in the world for a weekend of turtles, champagne, snorkelling, potato gems, a marriage, more turtles and more champagne. We've provided some information regarding booking on this website, with more info to come! We currently have the majority of the island booked for our guests, until the 15th of March. If you are planning on coming, we recommend you book and pay the deposit of $300 as soon as you can. There is only one resort on the island, so once it books out, it books out. You'll find all the information on accomodation types on this website. We'd also recommend booking flights sooner rather than later. It will be the first weekend of Queensland school holidays and chances are prices will rise as the date gets closer. We love you, and we hope you can join us.
