Saturday only! Going to the Midtown Farmers Market is Chris and Amanda's Saturday morning tradition. You can find the best fruits and veggies here. We recommend grabbing breakfast at LowBrau after walking around the market.
Our favorite Mexican restaurant in midtown; we have spent many date nights here. Grab a margarita, elote, and some tacos.
Absolutely delicious; one of Amanda's favorite brunch spots
THE BEST FRENCH TOAST. We're not joking.
They have a platter of beignets as an appetizer as well as bottomless mimosas for brunch. You may call it excessive, we call it a well balanced breakfast.
Our favorite pizza joint- their crust reminds Amanda of east coast pizza
Amanda's favorite sushi; get the freaky edamame and BBQ tuna. YUM.
One of our favorite taprooms; the beer is delicious, as is the food (from Sellend's next door)
What is not to love about an outdoor beer garden? Prost!
They serve beer from many of the local breweries, so this is a good place to get to try a little bit of everything
From the Fairfield Inn and Suites, you are 57 minutes away from downtown Napa. We highly recommend checking out Wine Country while you are out here; some of our favorite vineyards are Trefethen Family Vineyards (R), Cuvaison Estate Wines (R), Kunde Family Winery, Ashes & Diamonds Winery, Chimney Rock Winery (R), and Mumm Napa. (R): Reservations required
Two hours from the Fairfield Inn and Suites, South Lake Tahoe is a favorite weekend get-away for Chris and Amanda. It's also the first place Chris told Amanda he loved her. Let us know if you would like a suggestion for a day hike.
A mere two hours and fourty five minutes from the Fairfield Inn and Suites, Monterey is a beautiful little seaside town that is near and dear to Chris and Amanda. If you go, we highly recommend eating at Alvarado Street and getting ice cream at Revival
Last, but not least, three and a half hours from the Fairfield Inn and Suites is Chris and Amanda's happy place. Many a birthdays and long weekends away have been spent around a camp fire under the stars. If you go, may we recommend visiting Point Lobos (a cliffside walk), Pfeiffer beach, and the Big Sur Bakery. Just a warning, there is no cell phone reception in Big Sur.
