Written by Chris: Amanda and I met on Bumble. I think we were both surprised at the caliber of person reaching out on the other end. If you ask her, she will tell you she distinctly remembers responding to my profile. Personally, I was instantly taken back by her combination of brains, beauty, and kind nature. Our first date was at a local coffee shop. She was running late, so I ordered a cup of tea for her, which I later found out was a good move. The conversation was effortless. Two hours later we decided to walk the capital gardens. Another hour after that, she showed me the King's stadium. Our first date lasted four hours. She later told me that her shoes were super uncomfortable for the 4 hour trek. I had no idea. Our second date was five hours. Each date never wanted to end. By the third date, we were inseparable. Three years later, we can't spend enough time together. I consider her my best friend. When I started online dating I thought my expectations might be too high. When I met Amanda, she exceeded every expectation and taught me what a perfect match should be. She is my soulmate.
