What is the dress code?

Because our ceremony will be taking place in a church, we request that you please wear "Sunday best" or cocktail attire. We want to honor the sacredness of the space while also encouraging you to wear what makes you feel confident and comfortable! Let us know if you have any specific apparel questions.

I've never been to a Mass or Catholic wedding. What can I expect?

We are thrilled to share in the beauty of our Catholic faith with you! This video gives a great overview of what the Mass is like and what it means to us (copy and paste link into browser to view): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YBS9WfkS1tg The Sacrament of Holy Matrimony is what actually makes us married in the eyes of the Church! With this sacrament, our marriage becomes a living symbol of Christ's love for us. We've selected some really beautiful readings and prayers for the Mass to reflect this, so be sure to soak it all in. Everything is intentional! And of course, please reach out to Maddie or Joseph if you have specific questions!

In an effort to accommodate our beloved friends and family, we have reserved seats only for the individual(s) listed on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation!

Will you be able to accommodate my dietary restrictions?

Answer

We will do our very best! Please reach out to Maddie or Joseph, and note your restrictions in your RSVP, and we will work with the zoo to find the best solution. Additionally, we are striving to make our entire wedding reception peanut- and tree nut-free to accommodate those with allergies.
