How They Met
It all started with a right swipe and a message from Sam—thank you, Bumble, for making the first move her job!
Hunter and Sam met on Bumble and had their first date at the outdoor patio of JTaps in Western Hills. What started as a casual meetup for a free drink turned into five hours of nonstop conversation. That night, they both realized that a single drink was just the start—now they will spend a lifetime picking up each other’s tabs!
Where are they now?
First comes school, then school, well and then more school, and THEN marriage!
Hunter and Sam currently live in Chicago, IL, but are excited to move back home to Cincinnati once they finish school. Sam is in her fourth year of a PsyD program, while Hunter is finishing his M.Ed. program. Both are passionate about shaping young minds—Sam as a child therapist and Hunter as a history teacher. Together, they’re working toward a future dedicated to supporting and inspiring the next generation.
