Kate Sessions Memorial Park
One of Rich and Harmony's first dates was a picnic here. The ocean view is unbeatable, and there are usually lots of supremely good dogs, too.
Fiesta Island Dog Park
Pepita's favorite place. Lots of stinky seaweed to roll around in. If you're lucky, you might even find a dead fish.
San Diego Whale Watch
Harmony took Rich here for his 29th birthday. They had the best time and saw multiple whale breaches and lots of dolphins. You can usually find good coupons on Groupon.
Sunset Cliffs
Best sunset views on the West Coast. Just make sure you get there early to find a good street parking spot!
Birch Aquarium
San Diego's local aquarium partnered with UCSD. You can save some money if you buy your tickets online. They also offer senior and military discounts. The blue penguins and the great Pacific Octopus are Harmony's favorites.
SeaWorld San Diego
Sea World San Diego is a water theme park with coasters and live animals. Active duty military get free admission once per year, which is why Rich and Harmony like to go here for a fun-filled annual date.
San Diego Zoo
Richard and Harmony love to go on dates here, as active duty military get in for free. Rich loves the wolves, which can be seen in the morning animal encounters show most weekdays, and Harmony loves the walk through aviary enclosures.
Spreckels Organ Pavilion
Did you know that San Diego boasts the world's largest outdoor organ? The Spreckles Organ Pavilion in Balboa Park has free organ concerts every Sunday at 2pm. This is a favorite date spot for Rich and Harmony. While you're there, take a walk around scenic Balboa Park. The botanical garden and Timken art museum are also free!
Mission Bay Aquatic Center
Rent some paddleboards and enjoy paddling around in Mission Bay! In college, Harmony took windsurfing classes here.
Barnes and Nobles
This Barnes and Noble is a unique bookstore built inside the old Loma Linda movie theater. Much of the theater has been kept in its original state, making this a memorable place to spend an afternoon perusing. It's also right next to a great vietnamese restaraunt.
