Cynthia and Erika met in high school during the former's sophomore year and the latter's freshman year through a mutual acquaintance. Cynthia would bully Erika for baked goods that she would make throughout the year for people's birthdays, and Erika would ensure Cynthia got a piece. However, their friendship evolved as the years passed, and they bonded over good food and even knew each other by their nickname of "Favorite." Once college ended, they reconnected by going to the gym at their local recreation center. Erika was engaged to her then-fiancé, Joseph, and Cynthia proposed to be the wedding planner. They've been closer than ever throughout the trials and tribulations of wedding planning. Erika was more than honored to be given the role of a bridesmaid and can't wait to see how Cynthia's and Scott's love story plays out on their wedding day!

I first met Cynthia in 2013 when we both started working for Sundance Vacations. We hit it off and started carpooling to work together. We both left Sundance for other jobs in 2016, but we remained good friends. Some time later, Cynthia invited me to a Dungeons & Dragons game she was going to be a part of. I accepted, and I met Scott at the table—he was the Dungeon Master for that campaign—and we've been friends ever since.
