Garden party attire. The ceremony and reception will take place outdoors so consider bringing a light jacket for the evening. You might also want to bring sunscreen or a hat. Ladies-the ceremony will be outdoors on grass, so bear that in mind when you select your footwear.

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will take place outdoors. Our typical weather in August ranges is typically between 75-80 degrees, however warmer weather is a possibility. Rain is unlikely that time of year but sunscreen is advisable.

COVID concerns

Answer

All counties should be in Phase 3 by the end of June, so our event should not be affected by capacity limits. Washington no longer has a mask mandate for vaccinated individuals, but note that many businesses continue to require patrons to wear masks. Although restrictions in our area have eased, it is possible that the COVID situation could be different by the end of the summer. We encourage you to look into travel insurance in case COVID affects our wedding plans. We understand that some people may not feel comfortable traveling for an event due to health concerns. We are exploring options to make the ceremony available online for those who are unable to attend. *This page will be updated each time Washington restrictions change, so check back for the most current information. Do you have a registry?

Your presence at our wedding is all we ask for. We are so grateful that our guests are willing to travel to be a part of our special day. However, for those friends and family who have expressed an interest we created a wedding fund and registry, which is available under the registry tab of our wedding website.
