Patrick met Tyler freshman year when they rushed the same fraternity and lived in the same dorm. From all the computer science classes to drinking games, Patrick realized he was stuck with Tyler for a while. Patrick has been roommates with Tyler multiple times over the years including when Tyler first met and started dating Maddie. While Tyler kicked Patrick to the curb to have Maddie move in, they still always find time to get their weekly DND (Dungeon and Dragons) nights in.

Not to be confused with the groom…yes Maddie's best friend, "Tyler girl" shares the same name. Maddie and Tyler met on the first day of sorority rush at the University of Texas, where they both pledged Kappa Delta. They survived many fraternity mixers, McCombs business school classes, Texas football games, and 2 years living together in college. Fun fact: Maddie told Tyler sophomore year of college she already knew she was going to be her Maid of Honor one day (which probably freaked her out at the time, but here we are 10 years later).
Zach Logan

Zach is Tyler’s brother-in-law. While their relationship started as a family requirement and even having Tyler fake a shellfish allergy to be antisocial at Zach’s bachelor party, they’ve bonded over the years over watching sports and being the only type B people in the immediate family. Now that Maddie’s in the picture and enjoys engaging in “sports talk” with the boys, Heather wonders how the group chat constantly turns into Texas vs OU smack talk between Zach and Maddie.
Heather Logan

Heather is Tyler's older sister, whom Maddie is ecstatic to be gaining as a sister-in-law (along with her two adorable sons as nephews). They instantly hit it off as friends and have become extremely close since Tyler first introduced them, which may also occasionally annoy him how often they talk to each other. Finally, the sister Maddie never had growing up, and she couldn't be more thrilled!
Connor Wakeham
Groomsman
Connor is Maddie’s younger brother. Tyler is mainly jealous of his awesome beard, even if Maddie wouldn’t ever let Tyler have one. Tyler knew he was cool when Connor showed up to meet him for the first time (on St Patrick’s Day) wearing a leprechaun onesie and shamrock beard ornaments. To be honest though, Tyler mostly just wishes he could pull of a onesie in public as well as Connor can.
Laura Byrd

Maddie and Laura were both KDs and Finance majors together at UT. She’s one of the two Laura’s of Maddie’s “Llamas” gang. They lived together in Austin after college and were roommates when Maddie first met and started dating Tyler. Their apartment shenanigans together created memories for a lifetime, and are unmatched to this day. Laura is currently in law school in Atlanta and Maddie cannot wait for the day she moves back to Texas.
Joe Dorsey
Groomsman
While Joe also went to SMU, they never actually met until they both lived in Austin postgrad. They quickly realized that they shared a love of 6th street and then when Tyler convinced Joe to start playing Pokémon Go, did things get wild. Before Joe moved to Miami, you could often find them spending most Saturday afternoons driving around town to catch Pokémon together. Joe is also guilty of convincing Tyler to get a dog after asking him to watch his dog, Bosco, (pictured here) for a weekend.
Ankita Brahmaroutu

Ankita and Maddie met at UT through their mutual friend, Alexa, when Ankita also pledged Kappa Delta. She's an infamous member of Maddie's "Llamas" clique of college girlfriends. Ankita is an MD and Neurology resident at UPenn. With Maddie being a clutz and notorious for accidental injuries, she's a great person for her to have as a close friend for constant medical inquiries.
Kevin Greisel
Groomsman
Kevin and Tyler were introduced through their mutual friend, Joe. They quickly became close and later cemented as lifelong friends after going to Comic-Con in San Diego together and dressing up as Captain America and Winter Soldier. They also have a newly shared favorite NFL team after Tua (an Alabama QB) was drafted by the Miami Dolphins.
Alexa Janda
Bridesmaid
Alexa and Maddie were in the same KD pledge class and became good friends sophomore year when they had Texas-OU weekend dates in the same fraternity. Another member of the "Llamas" clique, they've been close friends for almost 10 years now. Being one of the only ones not living in the sorority house, most weekends were spent having sleepovers on Alexa's floral couches at her apartment aka the "Retirement Home."
Billy Hightower

Billy met Tyler freshman year of college and have been best friends ever since. Even though they never officially lived together, wherever you'd find Billy, Tyler was most likely around somewhere (probably the corner). Billy, as someone who knows everyone, was friends with Maddie from working together at Oracle. He's the one who introduced Tyler and Maddie and hosted the New Years Party where Tyler finally made his move.
Meredith McPhail

Meredith was introduced to Maddie by their mutual friend, Natalie, when they were both living together in Austin postgrad. They quickly became close friends, bonding over their love for football, all things makeup, Chainsmokers concerts, and playing beer league kickball. They are passionate Dallas Cowboys fans and mostly only disagree when Texas and TCU are playing against each other in sports.
Taylor Jobin

Taylor is Tyler’s oldest friend. They met in kindergarten and went to school together all the way through their senior year of high school. From playing on multiple sports teams in middle school to varsity high school basketball, they were often always together. So much so, that teachers often called them the wrong names, and at a certain point they both started responding to either Taylor or Tyler.
Natalie Stephens

Maddie and Natalie met in college at UT through mutual friends. Their multiple-year friendship stems from a deep passion for the Texas Longhorns, mimosas, traveling together, and football. (You should avoid watching any football game together with them when the Cowboys or Longhorns are losing). Despite living in different cities after college, their friendship only grew closer over the last 5 years.
Steven Porter

Steven is Tyler’s second-oldest friend, as they met in first grade and continued to go to school through high school. Steven quickly became the third musketeer with Tyler and Taylor. Although they are not able to hang out often living across the country from one another, it instantly becomes senior year all over again whenever they are reunited.
Laura Jane Turner
Bridesmaid
LJ is the final member of Maddie’s "Llama" crew and was also a KD with her at UT. They lived down the hall from one another at the sorority house junior year. They had a preference for studying at the freezing cold PCL library and spent many nights trekking back and forth from the library at 2 am together. The weekends, on the other hand, are another story and may have involved a few treks to fraternity parties or 6th street, but the adventures together were countless.
Wyatt Logan
Ring Bearer
Tyler and Maddie's adorable nephew. He loves playing football and basketball with his Uncle Tyler, and his Aunt Maddie loves teaching him "Texas Fight" chants when his dad isn't around. You may or may not catch him dribbling a basketball or throwing a football down the aisle.
