We ask that you let us know by, Sunday, March 29.
Considering we limited the number of guests we are allowed to invite, we unfortunately cannot give every guest a plus one. Also, the reception is in the evening with an open bar and DJ (who will likely be playing explicit songs), so we are choosing to not allow kids to attend the reception.
We will not be doing the majority of wedding traditions (no flower or garter toss, no cake cutting, no first dances, no speeches, etc). Instead, we just want to focus on mingling with friends and enjoying the night dancing together.
We will begin the funtivities at 5 PM and dance the night away until 10 PM. We do have a hard time cutoff to give us enough time to clean-up. With that said, we encourage guests to be on time to maximize the fun together.
The dress code is cocktail attire. Please do not wear jeans. Note: We anticipate a lot of dancing so be sure to wear clothes you can dance in.
Yes. :)
Yes, we are getting a food truck and there will be snacks and desserts.
There is street parking that is free, but there are a few parking lots that you can pay to park. Guests are highly encouraged to Uber, Lyft, or Waymo. Parking lot addresses: - 826 Mateo Street, Los Angeles, CA 90021 - 660 Mateo Street, Los Angeles, CA 90021 - 905 S Santa Fe Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90021
We are currently working on finding a hotel block to help discount the cost for guests. Since we will be near downtown Los Angeles, there a lot of options. Here a few that are within 10 minutes of our venue: Miyako Hotel Los Angeles https://www.miyakola.com/ DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Los Angeles Downtown https://www.hilton.com/en/hotels/laxdtdt-doubletree-los-angeles-downtown/ Kodō Hotel https://kodohotel.com/
No. The venue charges us a $350 smoking fee, so we ask any guest who is needing to smoke to exit the property and find a location nearby.
Since we are getting married at a courthouse, we decided to not have a traditional wedding party. We still love everyone very much, and we cannot wait to celebrate with everyone.
