In September 2019, Hardy and Danielle met on Hinge. After bantering on who would win a game of Monopoly (spoiler: still have not played a full game to determine a real winner), they decided to go on their first date on September 5 at John's Garden. From there, their love grew through a global pandemic, long distance, traveling together, and spending time with loved ones. Over the past six years, their connection was undeniable and they knew each other were the one. The Proposal: While traveling in Italy in November 2025 with Danielle's mother, Melissa, Hardy proposed to Danielle. On her birthday, November 11, Hardy and Danielle enjoyed a dinner together in Rome. After the meal, they decided to walk up a bunch of stairs and a hill to get to the Airbnb. Upon getting inside the lobby, Danielle started thanking Hardy for the evening and they started their usual "I love you" "I love you more" "I love the most" and Danielle quipped "Prove it" to which Hardy whips out the ring and gets down on one knee. When she saw the ring, she blacked out and only heard Hardy say "I love you so much. Be my ride or die" and the rest is history.
